08:30 09:00 Registration and networking Benjamin Britten Lounge, 3rd floor, Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre. Registration and networking opened at 08.30 on Tuesday 12 January 2010. Participants were welcome to network before Tuesday's programme of innovation, flex and spotlight sessions started.
09:00 10:30 Innovation exchange one - Enabling regeneration and economic recovery Innovation exchange sessions allowed participants to take part in interactive discussions and presentations, meet other international leaders and engage in debate, share experiences, discuss the forum themes, share best practice and consider together how this can be built upon.
11:00 11:20 Flex and follow up sessions Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre. Flex sessions (informative briefings) provided participants with the opportunity to share their practice with others about how their country is driving education and skills developments using learning technologies. They also provided participants with the opportunity to learn about other work being conducted across the world and build networks and connections.
11:00 11:40 Spotlight sessions Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre. Spotlight sessions provided participants with the opportunity to attend a 40 minute presentation, delivered by world leading speakers, which explored particular aspects of learning technologies in more depth. The spotlight sessions ran in parallel with the flex and networking sessions.
11:20 11:40 Refreshments and networking Benjamin Britten Lounge, 3rd floor, Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre. Participants were able to network with others during the refreshment break.

Innovation exchange sessions allowed participants to take part in interactive discussions and presentations, meet other international leaders and engage in debate, share experiences, discuss the forum themes, share best practice and consider together how this can be built upon.
13:00 14:00 Lunch and networking Benjamin Britten Lounge, 3rd floor, Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre. Participants were encouraged to network with other leaders during the lunch period.

19:00 22:30 Official dinner Natural History Museum. The evening reception and dinner brought leaders, ministers and officials together to network. The reception was hosted by the The Rt Hon David Lammy MP and participants were able to enjoy a keynote speech delivered by Dr Laurence Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of the New Media Consortium during dinner. There was also a short speech delivered by Philip Goodwin, Global Programme Leader, Creative and Knowledge Economy, British Council and Vernon Coaker MP, Minister of State for Schools and Learners at the Department for Children, Schools and Families hosted the dinner. Entertainment was provided by St Bede’s, Redhill, a Specialist Music College, under the direction of James Wood, Head of Music Specialism.

21:40 22:00 Keynote presentation - Dr Laurence F. Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of the New Media Consortium Natural History Museum. Dr Laurence F. Johnson, delivered a keynote presentation at the Learning and Technology World Forum official dinner held on Tuesday 12 January 2010.
22:00 22:30 Entertainment: 'Slide' from St Bede's, Redhill, a Specialist Music College Natural History Museum. Entertainment was provided by St Bede’s, Redhill, a Specialist Music College, under the direction of James Wood, Head of Music Specialism.
